"Please, Danny...I need you," he said, rather than giving an answer. He didn't know why, though he wished he did. He wasn't sure what had come over him.

"You're out of your bloody mind," Danny replied, shaking his head and moving to get off the train as soon as they reached his stop.

Hex followed him out and the doors closed behind him. The train pulled away.

"I'm really not. Maybe we need this kind of truth, Danny," he said as he hurried after him.

"I don't want this truth. I don't know what's wrong with you, but I think- I think I want you to stay away from me," Danny said quietly, walking faster to get away from him.

"You can't mean that. I love you. Danny, I'll wait but I choose you. I want you to be me boyfriend, yeah?" Hex said as Danny hurried away from him.

"Stay away from me," Danny said again, uncomfortable and tense.

Hex started running after him and caught up. He grabbed hold of Danny tightly and faced him. He felt the overwhelming need to have him close, to possess him.

"I cant," he replied and moved to kiss him again.

Danny struggled, trying to get free and looking shocked.

"Don't! What are you do-"

Hex cut him off with a kiss and he started to struggle, all teeth and no tenderness as he turned his head away.

The fight only inspired him to strength and control and he he grabbed Danny tighter. He was denied his mouth so Hex dipped his head and kissed his neck. Danny was close enough and Hex pressed closer, his cock a hard ridge against the man's hip.

"I love you. I need you," he said desperately between kisses.

The small brick wall that separated the counsel estate from the road wasn't high, but it offered enough privacy that Danny didn't think anyone would see them and step in. ...Hell, even if it hadn't been there at all, this wasn't the sort of place where people played the part of the concerned citizen.

Anger became fear as Hex grew more aggressive, and Danny struggled harder.

"Hex, please. Please don't do this," he begged quietly. "I don't know what you're on, but please, just- Let me go. Get off! This isn't you, I know it isn't. Please, Hex- Don't."

Even under Yves's spell Hex would never go against his nature to stop when someone said stop. But it was hard. It took everything in him to let go of Danny. He hugged himself tightly to keep his hands to himself.

"I love you," he said again, then squeezed his eyes shut tight. "Run, Danny. Get away from me. I don't feel right..."

Danny looked visibly shaken, but Hex let go and that meant something to him- It meant a lot. Danny had known plenty of guys over the years who even at their best didn't hear the word no when it was spoken.

"I think someone's drugged you, Hex. One of them, maybe... Come back to mine, I'll give you something to help you sleep it off," he offered, nervous, but unwilling to leave Hex on his own like this.

"Can I fuck you? I want you," Hex said, twisting to turn away. "Please get away from me. I'm afraid I'll hurt you."

"I don't believe you will," Danny said, shaking his head. "I think you're stronger then this, whatever it is."

Hesitating, he reached out to take Hex's hand. "If you'd feel safer, I could get you to the hospital- I have a little cash, I could get you a cab..."

"I can't go to the hospital. I'll lose me job if I'm on drugs," he replied, his voice full of fear. His emotions and desires were hard to control. His mind was overwhelmed with flashes of images of Danny naked, Danny moaning, Danny spread wide beneath him as he sank in...

"...Help me," he said softly.

Danny nodded his understanding, compassion winning out over fear as he gestured for Hex to follow him up to his flat.

Hex was desperate to grab him, hold him, claw at him and possess every inch of him, but he kept his arms firmly around his middle, hugging himself tightly and clutching his shirt.

"I'm not lying. And I'm not mad. Danny, I think we could work. All I ask is a chance," he said, the truth tumbling out of his mouth before he could stop it.

"Hex," Danny warned softly, letting them into the flat and checking to make sure none of his flatmates were home.

"Alright," he said, relaxing now they were inside. "What if I gave you a sleeping pill?" he offered.

"I don't want to sleep unless it's with you," he said, but even as the words came out he had his eyes closed and he nodded frantically.

Danny just hoped the pill would be enough to knock Hex out until this passed. He was positive that if the man attacked him again, he wouldn't be able to fight him off.

He didn't want Hex to lose his job though, not when he knew this might all be his fault. The hospital was out of the question.

Heading into the kitchen, he returned with a glass of water and a sleeping pill.

"I'll make up the sofa," he said quietly.

Hex swallowed the pill and drank all the water.

"Shouldn't I have two?" he asked. "To be sure?"

"Bottle says one, and we're not sure what you're on. Better to play it safe, yeah?" Danny replied.

"Danny, I'm so sorry," he said softly. "I do love you. Everything I've said is true. I didn't want to tell you. You said you're not ready. But I do. I love you. I love you and I'll wait."

"You're high. You're my friend, and I care about you, and you're not yourself, alright? you're going to go to bed, and I'm going to pretend we didn't see one another tonight," Danny said quietly, heading into his room to grab a spare pillow and a blanket for Hex.

Yves' magic was strong though, stronger than a pill, and it shifted in reaction to the mortal medication, changing slightly inside the mortal.

Hex felt hot, his skin prickling all over. And he was hard, so hard he ached. He pulled off his shirt and kicked off his shoes and when Danny came back with the blanket and pillow Hex found himself wetting his lips.

"Danny," he said, his voice a low purr. "Let me sleep with you."
