Danny had been thinking about texting John all day, but as the sun vanished beyond the horizon he finally sat down on the edge of the bed with his phone. He wrote a message- Then deleted it. Then another, which he also deleted.

Life had not been kind and John showed every second of his age and then some. Grey was lightening the temples and he had deep lines around his eyes. It had been the majority of a day and he already had a bit of stubble.

When Danny insisted, John almost believed it. He definitely felt it.

"You want to go to bed?" John mumbled into the kiss.

"We'll never get there if you don't stop," he teased, even as he ran his hands over Danny's body, not actually letting him go.

"You're the wizard, can't you teleport us there?" Danny teased, kissing him again before relenting and moving to get up.

"If only," he grinned as he reluctantly let go. With no shame at all, John shifted and reached into his pants to adjust his cock. He looked up at Danny with a queer little half smile, obviously smitten.

Danny chuckled softly, pushing his hair back and offering the other man his hand.

He took it and pulled himself up. Standing close, John studied him a moment then cracked a grin.

"C'mon," he said and slid his hand into Danny's.

It was a short trip to the bedroom, and Danny looked embarrassed as he moved to quickly clean up a bit.

While Danny tidied up and cleared off the bed, John kicked off his shoes and started to undress. He watched the man, wondering what someone so young and beautiful would see in him.

He was a disaster...and he knew it.

As he stripped out of his shirt he looked a little shy.

Danny shoved most of the mess under the bed, then turned and smiled at John.

"I wasn't sure I'd have company," he said awkwardly, his gaze wandering over the other man's body. "Didn't think to clean."

"Danny, you've been to mine," he chuckled. "A bit of clutter is nothing. Do you want help?"

Danny relaxed a bit, shaking his head.

"I suppose I just- I thought I'd been growing up, but I'm still... Messy," he finished awkwardly.

He let his trousers fall and he stepped out of them, taking Danny in his arms.

"Hardly. I promise," he said before kissing him again.

Danny pulled his own shirt off, then slipped his arms around John in return.

The kiss was a good distraction from his worries and self reflection.

John moved smoothly to his neck to kiss and lick his way from one spot that made Danny moan to another. His fingers found the man's waistband and pushed them down so he could feel more bare skin.

Danny gasped, pressing closer and groaning softly.

Danny swore softly, groaning and catching John by the hair to pull him up for another hungry kiss.

Part of him wished they could talk more, that they weren't constantly just tumbling into bed. However, once things got started it was too hard to stop.
