He'd invited Greg around. It was his day off from school, and it would be nice to spend some time together- Even if things were complicated right now. Greg was grieving, and Danny was starting to take steps to open his business. Things felt unsteady and strange, but Danny was stubborn, and wanted to try and navigate it all. He wanted to make all of this work somehow.

"I told you, I like it all," Danny soothed, stroking Greg's hair. "But I also want to get to know you better outside the bedroom. Just so you know."

"I'm an open book," said House. "Well... for you, anyway."

"Yeah, well, me too. Though I'd like if we didn't play twenty questions. I just hope we make time to talk- To go places together, enjoy the city, you know?" Danny asked.

House pulled away a little, his hand still on the small of Danny's back. "Of course. You... don't think this is just about sex for me, do you?"

"No- No. I mean, we do seem to end up in bed a lot, but- No, I know it isn't like that," Danny assured him quietly. "I wasn't implying anything," he promised.

"Why don't I take the day off work tomorrow?" House offered. "We can do whatever you want."
