Jack turned back into the room and let the door close. He didn't need to attack this right now. He could find out where Danny and Hex lived and take care of it soon enough.
There was an ambulance outside the hotel when Danny came down. Hex was standing outside of it. He waved off his mates and they drove away as Hex rushed toward Danny.
"Are you alright? I've already called an Uber. Come on," he said, wrapping an arm around him when he was close enough.
