doses of Retcon had insured Hex didn't know him. Not that he'd admit that.
"Jack?" Hex asked, sounding blank. It was entirely possible he knew someone
named Jack. He'd met a lot of people in his club days. "Alright, yeah. Say
hi for me," Hex said warmly, thinking nothing at all might be amiss. "You
don't have to end your fun. I just really needed to hear your voice. I knew
you were busy. Erm, sorry..."
