Danny hadn't really known what it was, and he looked somewhat startled When Hex clipped it on. It wasn't painful though, not unless Hex pulled.
"I'm not a puppy," Danny laughed, though he did come closer, practically prowling as he neared Hex.
Danny was on all fours, but he didn't look like some trained pet. He looked like a puma someone had been foolish enough to leash.
