"You sounded like you wanted him," Danny countered. "And there's nothing
wrong with that."
"No offence, Hex, but I just listened to you tell some guy you want to come
in him," Danny reminded him, pulling away.
"I'm not asking you to be faithful. I'm not asking for anything. I like
you, a lot, and- I think I could love you, but... I wont ask anything of
you," Danny insisted.
"You don't have to ask. I want to. I'm offering. Danny, I only want you.
You're always on me mind..."
He kissed him then, hard on the lips, then on the neck. Lust consumed him
and he didn't care at all that they were on the train.
Danny resisted though, shoving Hex back and looking unsettled.
"If you think this is romantic, it's really not. Look, I'm not saying we
can't see each other, and I think about you all the time as well, but- I
Hex huffed in frustration.
"I think you are. I think you're scared."
"Pardon?" Danny replied, shocked that Hex was talking to him this way.
"What is wrong with you?"
"I don't know. I don't even want to say these things...but I can't stop,"
he said in distress.
"Are you drunk or something?" Danny asked.
"You're out of your bloody mind," Danny replied, shaking his head and
moving to get off the train as soon as they reached his stop.
Hex followed him out and the doors closed behind him. The train pulled away.
"I'm really not. Maybe we need this kind of truth, Danny," he said as he
hurried after him.
"You can't mean that. I love you. Danny, I'll wait but I choose you. I want
you to be me boyfriend, yeah?" Hex said as Danny hurried away from him.
"Stay away from me," Danny said again, uncomfortable and tense.
Hex started running after him and caught up. He grabbed hold of Danny
tightly and faced him. He felt the overwhelming need to have him close, to
"I cant," he replied and moved to kiss him again.
